MCSE Hearing & Vision Screening Program

The Hearing and Vision screening program provides screenings to nearly 7,000 kids grades 4K-5th annually throughout Marathon County, with approximately 700 kids annually referred for services. The Hearing and Vision Coordinator will work with the student's families and school staff to connect these kids to the necessary services to maximize their daily learning experience.

Aby Sauter joined Marathon County Special Education as the Hearing and Vision Coordinator in May 2021. Aby previously worked for Marathon County Health Department as an administrative specialist.  Aby is a mom to two children. When she is not working or caring for her family, she is an avid reader (especially sci-fi stories) or enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and kids.
